Llanelwedd School is a small rural school situated on the outskirts of Builth Wells. We are very proud to be a Church in Wales School and have close links with St Matthew's Church, Llanelwedd.
We currently have 96 children on roll.
The children at Llanelwedd are taught in four classes - Dosbarth Coch (Reception and Year 1), Dosbarth Gwyrdd (Years 2 and 3) Dosbarth Melyn (Year 4 and 5) and Dosbarth Glas (Years 5 and 6). Our average class size is currently 23.
Each classroom is well equipped with interactive whiteboards, laptop computers and excellent teaching resources.
As we are a small school we are able to offer children an informal and supportive environment in which to learn but at the same time offering personalisation and challenge to ensure our children reach their full potential.
